Filtering Policy

You have several tools to adjust our cloud based web filtering:

  • You can create your personal Blacklist and Whitelist of websites. They have highest priority in filtering policy. No matter what filtering rule you will choose, your personal lists will always be applied. Please, read how to manage them most effectively.
  • You can use Keywords tool, which acts just like blacklist but blocks all URLs that contains specified keyword.
  • You can use "Blocked categories" section to choose categories of sites to block. This feature allows blocking thousands of unwanted website at once.
  • To be more flexible in filter configuration, you have possibility to select filtering rule that meets your specific need. Please read about them below:
  1. Block by category will block all websites that are included in categories you have selected in "Blocked categories" section. By default, non kids safe categories are preselected for blocking. You could unselect them if you want, but this action is discouraged.
  2. Allow whitelist only - allows access to websites added in white list and rest of the sites are blocked.
  3. Block blacklist only - blocks the sites added to black list and rest of the sites are allowed.
  4. Parent's approved only. Its in Beta stage it is still not fully functional. It allows pre-selected list of websites considered as child appropriate by other parents. Also, allows websites added in white list and blocks websites added in black list.
